HallAxis processes information needed to provide its hosted exam-management service to schools and exam centres.
Information we process
This can include customer account details, school or centre information, billing contact details, room and invigilator records, exam timetable data and operational scheduling information entered or imported by authorised users.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, provide and support the service, save centre configuration and schedules, process subscriptions, troubleshoot problems, maintain security and improve service reliability.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. HallAxis does not need to store customers’ full payment card details.
Service providers
We use specialist hosting, database, authentication and payment providers where necessary to operate the service. Information is shared only as required for those functions and subject to appropriate provider safeguards.
Retention and security
We retain service information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate customer accounts, meet legal or billing obligations and maintain service integrity. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are used to protect stored information.
Customer responsibilities
Schools and exam centres remain responsible for deciding what personal information they enter into HallAxis and for ensuring that their use of the service complies with applicable data-protection requirements.
